Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for the Divine Connections: Servants of Allah retreat ("the Retreat"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not register.
2. Eligibility
The Retreat is open to Muslim men aged 18 and above. By registering, you confirm that you meet this eligibility requirement.
3. Registration
3.1 Accuracy of Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for updating your information if it changes before the Retreat.
3.2 Confirmation
Registration is not confirmed until payment is received (via Stripe) or a valid e-Transfer receipt is verified by our team. You will receive a confirmation email once your registration is confirmed.
3.3 Capacity
The Retreat has a limited capacity of 150 attendees. Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to close registration once capacity is reached.
4. Payment
4.1 Pricing
All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes. Pricing tiers and what they include are described on our registration page.
4.2 Payment Methods
We accept credit/debit card payments via Stripe and Interac e-Transfer. Specific instructions for e-Transfer are provided during the registration process.
4.3 Refunds
Refunds are governed by our separate Refund Policy. Please review it carefully before registering.
5. Attendee Conduct
5.1 Code of Conduct
All attendees are expected to adhere to the Code of Conduct provided separately. This includes treating all attendees, speakers, and staff with respect, and conducting oneself in accordance with Islamic etiquette.
5.2 Prohibited Behavior
The following behaviors are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate removal without refund:
- Any form of harassment, bullying, or intimidation
- Possession or use of alcohol, drugs, or other prohibited substances
- Disruptive behavior during lectures, workshops, or prayer
- Damage to venue property
- Any illegal activity
5.3 Photography and Recording
Photography and video recording during sessions may only be done with explicit permission from the organizers and speakers. Personal photos in common areas are permitted with the consent of those being photographed.
6. Health and Safety
6.1 Medical Conditions
You are responsible for disclosing any medical conditions that may affect your participation or require special arrangements. We will make reasonable accommodations where possible.
6.2 Assumption of Risk
Participation in outdoor activities and recreational events is voluntary. You acknowledge that such activities carry inherent risks and participate at your own discretion.
6.3 Emergency Contact
You are required to provide an emergency contact during registration. This information will only be used in case of a medical or safety emergency.
7. Intellectual Property
All retreat materials, including lectures, presentations, handouts, and digital content, are the intellectual property of Divine Connections and/or the respective speakers. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially use these materials without written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Divine Connections and its organizers, speakers, and volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the Retreat, including but not limited to personal injury, loss of property, or disappointment with the program.
9. Modifications to the Program
We reserve the right to modify the Retreat schedule, speakers, activities, or venue if necessary due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., speaker illness, weather, venue issues). We will make every effort to communicate changes promptly and provide comparable alternatives.
10. Force Majeure
Divine Connections shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations if such failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or transportation disruptions. In such cases, we will work with attendees to arrange refunds or credits as appropriate.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms. Changes will be posted on our website. Continued registration after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
